Oh fantastic-the local news just talked about how he was a relatively new pilot (NOT in a way that suggested that was the reason for the crash) and showed film of him taxiing in a 172 with one of the news anchors, (he had taken them flying two or three weeks after he got his license) now my mom is having a nervous breakdown. Fly-in lunches with dad now in jeopardy
If you haven't noticed already the media has always had a thing for making aviation appear to be the most dangerous thing ever.
To bad for the families of those involved and for aviation in general.
