It'll be interesting to see who was flying it. Two of its regular pilots include an RAF Air Marshal and an RAF Air Cdre Test Pilot

Very interesting. pictures. A testament to Lockheed workmanship and design- the cockpit section is very intact; seems to have broken off "of a piece".
Indeed although it's most likely that this one was manufactured by Canadair. If that is the case the correct designation would be Canadair CT-133 Silver Star 3. I was surprised to learn that the CT-133 was used by the Canadian Forces until 2002.

Now been confirmed as Alan Walker.

Great to hear he's now out of hospital.
