Air show at KSTJ

Postby TacitBlue » Fri Jul 07, 2006 7:31 pm

Finally, an air show in my immediat area! So far the weather looks okay, and I've been seeing planes flying in all day. Where I work is not far from the approach path, so I got a pretty good preview today. Should be a good show, expect pics.

P.S. I know it's a long shot, but is anyone else from SimV going to be there?

i've been there before, nice little airport, good town and if i remember correctly the place where bonnie and clyde were ambushed and killed. It has been a couple of years but it seems like it had a nice FBO and a good little cafe. I wont be there, but have a blast!

lots of KC135 traffic i think

Actually, Saint Joseph is famous for Jesse James having been killed here, and we have a lot of C-130 traffic. You were close though...  ;)

Well, I did have a blast! But not to many of my pics turned out very well. That's Okay though, because I'm going again tomorrow and I'm taking my dads camera, which is much better than mine.

have fun and get lots of shots. I did see a lot of C-130 traffic while i was there, but im certain a KC135 launched within 15 minutes of our own departure time. i remember standing on the ramp with my ears covered.

hope you have a good time
