I wish I could have posted this in the photo section but I don't have any shots so..

Today is national veteransday in The Hague... and included is a little airshow...

I saw everything fly over my house! (except for the F-16's)

First of..

2x Chinook
2x Apache
2x Alouette's
2X Puma( Cougar)

3x Lynx

followed by th historical part consisting of

Beech 18 with 2 Harvardfs in formation

B-25 with A spit in formation...

After that 7x Pilatus pc-7's 3x dark and 4x Yellow who were changing formation over my house..

After that a Fokker 50 and a Gulfstream V in formation

One KDC-10 with extended boom

finally allthough not directly over the house wre 6 or 7 F-16's!

Really Really cool!

:o Wow, that sounds very cool! 8)

The biggest thing I've seen (non airshow) was last year, when 4 RDAF Chippies flew over my local church, and finished off by doing the "Lost Wingman" maneuver, to honour a RDAF Lt.Col.
He had passed away the day before Karup Airshow 2005, during practicing for the show.

Sad day, but a beautiful funeral to have. :'(

The really cool thing was that they all flew in some kind of formation ( except for the lone kdc-10)

Even the choppers were all in formation!

I saw two of the three lynxes again + the Mitchell and Spit and heard the Harvards and the beech!

I really like the sound of the harvards!
