Double helicopter-crash in Belgium...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sun Jun 25, 2006 10:05 am

Strange things happen during the Belgian Cup Cycling... no images available during the live broadcast because of a double Helicopter-crash. 2 Heli's struck each other's tails and crashed during the take-off manoevre... luckely they where only a couple of feet in the air before they crashed, so no one was killed. 3 people were injured...

Sad news and 2 heli's ready to be dismantled...

Sad for the crash but the bad jokes have already started... one helo was rented by VTM and the other one by the Walon public tv
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Damn good thing they were just taking off... I can think of two pilots who'll be just a little more careful from now on.  ::)
