That nailclipper thing has happened twice to me, once returning  from the USA and one going to the USA
All those police officers looked at me with a really ugly face  :P

The flight is LH426, on July 3, and it should be a A340-300.

I gotta feel for Triple7; of course they can and do just help themselves; I know a few techs in my business who lost very expensive items (not on the prohibited list, BTW) only because they had to leave their checked toolbags or boxes unlocked or with TSA locks on them. I've been lucky- they slashed my brand-new, unlocked duffel bag open out of sheer laziness once, but didn't steal any tools. I'm sure they didn't take the expensive video test generator because it wouldn't easily fit in a pocket. ::)

I'm not suggesting they're all thieves, but the current climate makes it very, very easy for them to be tempted.
