La Ferte-Alais 2006

Postby expat » Mon Jun 05, 2006 7:47 am

Last weekend I traveled to France to attend La Ferte-Alais.
This is what we saw:

09:30
"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

PETA Image People Eating Tasty Animals.

B1 (Cat C) licenced engineer, Boeing 737NG 600/700/800/900 Airbus A318/19/20/21 and Dash8 Q-400
1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

It is a Bank Holiday here in Germany, pictures end of the week. Sorry, I am a wet film man.

PS Does anyone know the airfield code for Aerodrome de Cerny-La Ferte-Alais or if it is even in FS9?

12 Parachutes

Were any parachutists attached? ;)

Sounds like a nice show. I like the idea of a slower paced yet longer show... :) Interesting logic to fly the very old stuff mid afternoon. At OW they do it at the end of the day, when the wind is most likely to be calm. Very surprising considering the show went on so late...

Having been to OW and seen how it is done, I was a little surprised at that too. I would have really liked to have seen the Cauldron fly.
