A pictorial tribute by "The Flying Lawyer" on page 4 of this thread is worth a look (As is the whole thread for that matter). How the great man would like to be remembered...

Two "as usuals" here...........

As usual Doug's photos are often surprising, that one was a little gem.

As usual I discovered this post days late.     As Hanna was a Kiwi, it seems weird that I have seen or heard nothing on the local media...

His exploits at "Warbirds over Wanaka" have thrilled the crowds (and me) for years.

His old flying mate, Sir Tim Wallis, has just released a book in time for Xmas - will be worth getting a copy to hear his thoughts on Ray Hanna.    Wallis remains the grand old man of NZ Aviation, famous amongst other things for crash-landing his Spitfire and surviving.    He continues to struggle back to health.
