Well, seeing as today is my LAST day of classes this year, I'm going to try and take advantage of rare event tomorrow afternoon and snap some pictures of a P-40C Tomahawk and Spitfire during some maintenance flights. Up at Arlington municipal airport, Paul G. Allen has a unique aviation museum. It's called the Flying Heritage Museum and all of its aircraft are restored to flying condition. So far they have around 12 aircraft in flying condition and are in the process of restoring a B-17E to flying condition. Other aircraft inclue the Mustang, Storch, BF-109, Hellcat, Jenny, and Zero.
And since the P-40 is my all time favorite WWII aircraft, hopefully I will have some beautiful shots to post for everyone! The flights are only supposed to be about an hour, and I don't have any idea as to what the a/c will be doing.
Anyway, to see the beautiful birds, check out the website at: www.flyingheritage.com
Enjoy!
