Afterburners

Postby ChuckMajik » Tue Oct 19, 2004 4:50 pm

I know how they work, I just don't know when they work.
I've been pondering this for a while now.
Are they activated through throttle setting/position or some sort of button/lever?

the throttle controls on most jets. you usually hold a button on the throttle to allow it to move to the burner zone, then push it past 100% level. Most have a series of "zones" usually 1,2,3,4 and 5.
