Li-2 crashed in Moscow

http://frontpage.fok.nl/nieuws/43343 (Dutch only)

Should be RA-01300 as that is the only one flying in Russia.
Haven't seen this being reported on other news sites yet.

Oh dear. I don't know one word of Dutch but from what I can make out there were several fatalaties. Very sad. :(

en was het enige nog werkende exemplaar van zijn type in de gehele wereld.

Does this mean it was the only airworthy example in the whole world?

A little bit of misinformation on their side... there is another one (HA-LIX, you need to know the details to tell this one isn't a DC-3/C-47) flying at the moment, but this one (FLA)RA-01300K has the reputation of being the most original one with the russian style cowlings.

RA-01300K (Russian cowlings)
