The shape is all wrong for a Bell 47. It also had an open famework & the covered in version was not developed until much later. I know very little about helos but my first thought was that it's a Sikorsky S-51. I'm sticking with that. ;)

PS. Oops I just checked out the Bell 47B. I told you I don't know much about helos. :-[Image

had a plane up at work the other day,  really wish i had my camera.   two words.....Turbo Goose ;D
   neat lookin' bird.   Grumman goose converted with two PT6 turbines inverted to keep the intakes on top.  

the pilot didn't have a tow bar so we had to pull it in & out of the hangar with a rope :-[
P4 2.4, 1gb ram, geforce 4 4200ti 128 mb w/8x AGP, 80gig drive.

I gotta hand it to you CRJ, that is a good pick. I can't wait for my seniority to come up in the CAP rankings so they will teach me to fly the beaver we've got on wheels.

I personally like the Catalina.
Has anyone made up theyre mind as wether too make a Spit. Floatplane for FS9 yet?
Lastly, I think there was more than one C-47 floatplane.
(Check Janes for info)
