What is size of main displays in Airbus?

Postby JBaymore » Sun Feb 01, 2004 7:38 pm

Does anyone know the physical size of the primary flight display VDT's ("glass cockpit") instruments in the Airbus 320?  (like the ND, etc)

I am working on my simpit and am wondering how large these displays typically are.

best,

On one of the websites that I posted in the "homebuild Cockpits" section I finally found what I was looking for after some searching of the web.

They are 16 x 16 CM.

Don't know if this helps (since you were looking specificly for the A320) but I believe the Honeywell displays on the 737 is 8 x 7 inches. I think they're a tad bigger than the ones found on the A320?

Nexus,

Thanks!  That helps also.  My simpit I am building is "generic" and I am stealing ideas from lots of places...... so that info is useful too.
