My logbook shows 600 hours each as First Officer and Flight Engineer for Eastern Air Lines on the B-727, mostly in the -100 series but some in the -200 series. Best large airplane I ever flew. I, and thousands of others who grew up on this magnificent machine, miss her. It is quite a fitting tribute that so many people worked so long and hard to preserve this beauty.

Always makes me sad to see another aircraft grounded at a Museum and never fly again. But well done to all involved in getting her airworthy again for her final flight.

Cheers

Flew on a couple 727's when I was a little kid, and saw many taking off and landing at Stapleton, too... it was like the 727 was ideally made for the high altitude Airports like Stapleton.

GripenFlyer - by the by, I'm having loads of fun flying my -200 with the Repaint you did for me... it's just about Baseball Season here in the US, and it'll get some use, for sure! Thanks again for your hard work!
