Luftwaffe jets grounded at night by software bug
But Bild reported that night flights were impossible as pilots are blinded by the cockpit light which is far too bright.

A defence ministry spokesman admitted that there is "a small technical problem that has to do with the cockpit lighting".

Not to worry. With swift Teutonic efficiency, all night flights were canceled.
He added that there was "currently no need to fly at night in Syria" and that the deployment was performing at "100 percent".

Ayup. 100%. We need people like that in the Pentagon.

:shifty: I dono, Rich.

Somehow their plan, that they have no need of night flights, reminds me of Baghdad Bob. (Anyone who doesn't know who Baghdad Bob was (he's still alive) has missed one of the funniest parts of modern history)

Anyway, as much as it would make the German aviator's life more colorful, I think that their plan would save tape.
