I was on the U.S.S. Eisenhower (CVN69) way back in 1981 when we pulled into Portsmouth for a few days. We rode on tugs to and from the dock. The first thing a mate and I did was take a guided tour of H.M.S. Victory. Now that was impressive. The information the tour guides put out was first rate too. The men who went down to sea in those ships were real sailors in every sense of the word. We also were invited to HMS DAEDALUS for several social events with their senior enlisted ranks who were our counterparts. A terrific experience and one of my fondest memories.
As a side note...the article said the top speed of the "Stick" was over 30 knots. Actually it's over 40 knots but anything above that mark is classified info.

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.
