WW-II Airshow

Postby Jetranger » Sun Sep 14, 2014 8:06 am

Gonna attempt to go to this WW-II Airshow bout' 30 minutes from my house, I say attempt because IF I can get this ol' man up the street who lives 2 houses up from me to go to would be unique

see, that ol' man who's 89 years old was a WW-II South Pacific Fighter pilot who flew Corsairs and fought the Japeense , and he flew shortly with WW-II Fighter Ace Pappy Boyington of the famous Black Sheep Squadron !!

We'll see IF I can get him to and if he's in the mood ???

tho 89, he still gets out and walks everyday around the block.

I'll be taking my Video camera with me and hopefully with any luck at all, get some video of him next to a B-25 Mitchell and a Corsair.

we'll see what happens !

stay tuned

GOOD LUCK! And lots of pictures please.

And if you can't get him to go, then you can pick my up. When I was a little bit younger I used to fly a P-40 at the end of a U line. :D

Let me know real soon. I'm just about to eat a bean, cheese, & onion burrito. :D

You wouldn't want me in the car if I did that.

well ol' OJ didn't want to go, said he seen enough of those things during his time in the war, doesn't excite him anymore.

as he was walking around the block again !!!

and I have to go in a work later tonight anyway,,,, just from what I seen of it kinda a dismal turnout anyway.

Ohh well, i'll try to get a video of him one of these days talking about his experience flying corsairs in the south pacific, gotta catch him in the right mood !
