This weekend are the medal races at Reno!!!! Sunday's Gold races are already looking to get heated but today there will be spectacular racing in all classes although Unlimited races will be Voodoo and Strega....biplane is dominated by Tom Aberle and his crazy Phantom but the rest of the field is duking it out wing tip to wing tip. T-6 class is a riot to watch, yesterday there was a serious 4 ship gaggle all fighting for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th with all airplanes within a wingspan of eachother!

Sport class is to be dominated by Jeff LaVelle and his 800+hp Glasair III topping 409mph and legend John Parker in his Thunder Mustang topping 380mph then a gaggle of Lancair Legacy's between 340 and 380 mph.

F1s are my soft spot and it will be intense with Wasabi, Endeavor, Scarlet Screamer, and Freaud Naught all being top dogs. Endeavor already set a record this week at 267mph for the F1s!!! Not to bad for using the same motor in a Cessna 150 eh?

Today is also a tribute day for Lee Behel; Sport Class president and a wonderful man who lost his life qualifying earlier this week.
