A wonderful Video, Dwayne!.... ...!

Watched all of it, and observed it closely!

The sort of video very suitable for inclusion in the Sim V Flight School!

Even though I have spent many years in the Sim occasionally flying under IFR conditions, using instruments only, I still avoid inclement weather, and insist on flying under VFR conditions...and avoid all those nasty clouds!

If the weather is bad, I stop on the ground, .....or leave my Motorbike in the Garage!

Good Motorcyclists and Pilots should always observe the weather all around...and in front!

Paul....Mr. Cumulonimbus will be the death of you!.... ;) ...!

P.S..I'm having fun with my new toy....Google Nexus 7 Tablet...and watching all these various You-Tube flight videos in bed!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Excellent Video Dwayne....a Link/Video that does not hurt all of us to look at... ;)

When Instructing I preached:

When on the ground it is better to wish you were up in the air...
Rather than...
In the air wishing you were on the ground...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

He who lands on the nearest runway, lives to fly on another day!

Not really a laughing matter I know, but I'm an inveterate smart-alek....sorry! :D

Excellent video, and just as applicable today as it was then! Just ask the young Kennedy, I think it was....George....did the whole VFR into inadvertant IFR into a graveyard spiral thing. I know it costs more, by a fair amount, but IMO, every pilot should have at least the basics of IFR training, if not the full rating, and practise it as often as possible, for as they say, "S*&^ happens!" Even the best pilot in the world, the best trained, cautious, intelligent, safety consciuos pilot can make a single, fatal mistake in judgement. We are ALL of us human, and therefore fallible. I think the longest lived pilots are the ones whose luck bucket just had that little extra in it than all the rest, and they managed to live through the mistakes that killed other pilots. I know for a fact that my father, well into his 90's now, had quite a number of very lucky events that saved him from an early grave. He was a Naval FI in the AT-6/SNJ's and then went to work for UAL till he retired. I can recall a few times Mom looking extremely worried till he came thru the door, and SHE was a Pan Am stew till they got married.

Any way, thanks for the great vids, appreciate the posting!

Great flights to all!

Pat~
Have fun, fly high, far, and free!
