Sympathy Vote?

Call me a cynical old sod, but is Heidlfeld being a brainless pillock and saying what he thinks people want him to say or is he really that thick that as an unemployed F1 driver he has to think twice about this. Has namby pamby PC entered F1 now? [url=http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?id=50084]Moral misgivings

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

As a driver Hiedfeld is above average, a good tester and developer.
Thats about it though, he also needs to keep quiet, not trying to be harsh or mean, but I cant listen to him talk without laughing with his lisp.
