Hamilton's choice to go without the F-duct is pretty typical of his thought pattern to try to push the car as hard as possible without much of an error buffer.  This appears to be a time when it has punished him.  But who knows, crazyier shit has happened. :D

Poor Hamilton, that has to suck to get knocked out that early.

Too bad F1 cars can't take more of a beating, I think that would make for a lot more aggressive racing if they could.   ;)

Red Bull didn't seem to have it together today, except for that blindingly quick pit stop for Vettel.  :o

Schumacher Barrichello in Hungary, that was aggressive racing and what happens? A bunch of people whine and cry that it wasn't fair.
As silly as it sounds, racing is too safe. I'm not saying we should put drivers in death traps, i just think they have become so used to being safe, when we do get a hungary like incident everyone is in an uproar. When we get a bit of rain, they rush to send out a safety car or stop the race. Webbers crash in valencia proves how safe the cars are, just shut up and get on with it i say.
