F1 pick'em Germany

Postby Craig. » Wed Jul 21, 2010 6:46 pm

F1 returns to Hockenheim, one of my personal favourates. 2008 was an action packed race, perhaps best remembered for Hamiltons pass of Massa after his post safety car pitstop dropped him down the order.
This years race is set to provide some interesting scenario's. Firstly, Bridgestone are bringing the super softs and Hard compound tyres. The first time we've had a 2 step gap between the two. This could be further made interesting as the weather is set for rain Friday and Saturday, then a cold race sunday. Expect if this to be the case, the super softs will be destroyed within about 5 to 8 laps, and the hard tyres will not get up to temp and will be like driving on ice to the point where they to will grain up and destroy themselves within a short period. Hopefully we get multiple pitstops and some proper strategys.
Predictions in by start of quali.
As final say in the matter, 5 points will be awarded for predicting the quali results, regardless of race results.  ;) :)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

10 minutes until qualifying starts, and I can't decide whether or not to change my picks.  ;D

Alonso looked good, real good, and Massa showed some promise, but I hate picking against the Red Bulls.  :-[

What are the odds?  8-)

I'm glad I didn't change my picks now, because I wouldn't have placed them anything like that.  ;)

2 thousand'ths of a second :o
I honestly thought that was Alonso's pole..
The race result will be interesting, because the Ferrari's are quicker on race pace.
As a side note I am both surprised and annoyed because I thought I picked Alonso to win lol. :-X The 5 points are nice, but I cant help but think the alonso, vettel, massa I thought I picked will be the result.

John your picks were in on time, with 11 minutes to spare.
