American manufacturer to win supercross????

i dont know if it goes here but its kinda autoy
My dad, a former American supercross rider, said the only American manufacturer to win a title was Can-am (who he used to ride for) i dont know if its true or not but can anyone help??? i think it would of been in 75 when he won.
