Highly doubtful, and maybe a bit ambitious but it would have been the publicity event of the decade, maybe even bigger than Michael Schumacher returning...

Rossi did ok in his test, was 2 seconds off Michaels time, which isn't bad, but that was the 2006 cars with the aids and so on.
If Badoer struggled after years of driving them, then a guy with no experience at all would have been murdered
