Couple of interesting changes on this car.
Firstly the exhausts, I like the way they've covered them, but I don't see that being on the final race car. They've also dumped the aysemetrical cooling vents and gone with quite frankly, tiny inlets including the air box inlet. There is no sign of a KERS cooling vent, which again is quite surprising considering the size of the cooling inlets.
I like how they've positioned the cockpit, with the ferrari its been moved quite a way forward in comparison to the F2008, but Mclaren have kept it in the middle. Maybe something to do with how the ferrari struggled to warn its front tyres. It's certainly a lot fatter and boxier than what Mclaren usually bring out but its not bad.
Its interesting to note that with 3 differant cars, we've got 3 very differant nose cones. Toyota have a long nose with the front wing extended from the tip, Mclaren have gone for a squat nose with the wing and the nose ending in roughly the same place and the ferrari having the long pointy nose with the wing behind the nose tip. I cant wait to see how they are all effected in terms of balance.
