Well it appears there will be no Magny cours next year, which despite being a crap race, is a great track.
And good bye Montreal which is without a doubt a top 3 track in my opinion.

Well the only plus side is, even Ferrari and toyota seem to be against the single engine idea, and since they were a large reason the break away series never happend, I think Max and Bernie might be pushing it now if they try it. I could see a new series being formed with all the major players leaving F1 when these rules come into effect.
Even better, we'd see tracks like these two return, Silverstone, Imola, a USGP, no stupid engine rules or tyre rules.
God I hope they see sense this time.

To me, those are two tracks that ARE Formula 1. Without them F1 is diminished somewhat.
Seriously, is the France family now a silent partner in F1?

Ok Tony George just chill out ;D  The argument against new formula series is in Indianapolis with ugly, slow cars and pay-in drivers.  Not to say that the IRL can't put on a show, but whos watching anymore 13 years later?

I think they are panicking about the future as they are entitled to.  Many are predicting a full blown recession, as I learned last week when a potential employer told me that me working there depends on the economy.
