I dont blame them, but in the end its the BBC's fault for giving Clarkson so much money, and it all started with that waste of space Ross's stupid contract.
Plus to be fair Hammond and May do far more work for the BBC as far as programming is concerned.
I doubt they'll break them up though. It's just too profitable a team no matter what the BBC may say.

Yes, I've seen some of their other work. I think most of it is just brialliant.  I recently found a couple of series' May did for the BBC and also a video of Hammond putting an ostrich egg in a microwave. It went something like, to quote a certain Mr. Hobbs, Ka-Blamo!  ;D

J.C. is the star of the show, always has been it's his baby so he should get paid more. Be honest May just sits there and looks stupid all the time and Hammond tries to turn everything into a science project.
It's like telling Elton John he's going to be paid the same as the backing band.
Dont get me wrong I love Top Gear but without J.C. it's dead in the water.
Cheers.

Strange really, when JC first appeared on Top Gear all those years ago, he was very much 'side show' Jeremy, and there wasnt really a clue that he would end up being the popular blokes bloke he is today!

I think the worst top gear bloke was him with glasses that did it till they finished it in its old format. He was one of those 'Troy Queef' blokes who edits glossy car mags, that talk about 'oppo' and turn in understeer snapping to exit oversteer - in a 1.1 Ford Fiesta popular...and how they spanked the monkey over this...

I'm pretty sure it was already confirmed that May wasn't asking for as much as Clarkson anyway.
