Seems Redbull have found some performance. Second practice with Lewis and Kimi going for it, Mark Webber has slotted himself between them and is second fastest at the end of the session. Have to wait and see if this can be translated into race pace. Now that would put the cat amongst pigeons for the SimV fantasy F1.

To be honest, I'd take little from practice 2. one look at the times throws it all off. Redbull didn't find 1.8 seconds from FP1 to FP2 and Kimi for instance didn't lose 2 seconds + in that time.
The overall fastest time was set on hard tyres in practice 1 where as lewis on soft tyres on a rubbered in track was still slower which was strange.
Me thinks markie boy was on a very light qualy run.
I'd like to be wrong though, it'll be interesting to have the red bulls in the mix.

See, you only get in the news what they want to tell you ::)
Still, it would be nice. Who supplies the engine package to Redbull?

Renault engine LOL.
Right now Redbull look the fastest of the midfield, that was fairly clear from both sessions. They were consistent on long runs and as the times show, fast on quick runs, so they will be in the 3rd qualy most races. DC had some technical problems in both sessions, so they've still not got reliability sorted.
BMW are the shocker really, they certainly dont look the class of the midfield like they were predicting. The car looks quick into the corners, but through them and out of them it looks like theres an ice rink under them.

this is why testing times are unreadable. Must admit the bmw times left me speechless for a while. :o
