ITV do something right (online practice coverage)

Postby Craig. » Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:50 am

Well apparently, ITV will be showing the practice sessions live online from now on,
http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?id=41939

Not sure if it covers both sessions, or like Speed in the US just friday practice 2. Hopefully it's both, which will mean tune in tonight at 11pm to catch the practice session. I'll post a direct link if this is the case. :) :)

I guess for non UK IP addresses, I will have to use a proxy then?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

About time too. Some people find the practice a bit of a non-event, but I'll be watching.
If I remember correctly Eurosport (when they had the rights) used to broadcast all of the sessions.

I think so matt. But I thought it was shown in europe on eurosport?

And CD, I love practice, you get to see the test drivers out plus your getting a fairly decent idea of things to come. Also a lot of drivers use practice as a way to show their displeasure to each other.

Okay so ITV have a little work to do, but cant complain. It was nice to be able to just watch with no commentary. Plus with the mics being live and uninterrupted you get to hear david coulthard say the word "f*cked" without a bleep. ;D

Ferrari are fast, and I have no doubt Massa would have been P2 if that rolling road block trulli hadn't blocked his fast lap runs twice. ::)

I think Toyota will just be happy the Trulli can be a rolling road block! ;) ;D
