Sure hope they don't take my midnight F-1 party away here in the US!

Anyhow, I wanted to know how all you European F-1 feel about the start times for Pacific rim races like Australia and Japan.  Would it be worth losing those circuits from the calender to have a friendlier start time?

To be honest, I see no reason for a European friendly start time.  We are not the center of the world. OK, we have 800 million people, but how many are F1 fans. Bernie as usual is swinging his handbag about to get his way. Does he not look at how other sports do it with world wide audiences. Will China hold all events at Olympic Games at 23:00 local to accommodate European audiences, no more than when Brazil holds the next World Cup. A real fan will not be bothered one way or another what time the game/race/fight starts if it is happening on the other side of the world. Getting my rear out of bed on a Sunday at 04:00 to watch a race........it's Sunday, I can get back into bed when it is finished.........except, when I am on night shift and we all down tools to watch it ;D

I don't have a problem with the current time slot. I actually quite like getting up in the middle of the night to watch it... sort of adds to the occasion for me.
Plus with the missus and kids asleep it's 2 hours of peace and tranquility. I bet you never thought you'd hear F1 described like that  ;D

If Singapore's a success then I think we'll be watching all the Grand Prix in the European day time. I'm sure the TV companies are more important to Bernie than the promoter of the oz GP... :)
