No shocks their. Only question is, how much "information" he will be taking with him  ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

We all knew that's where he'd end up. No surprise it comes so soon after Renault were cleared as well.

That leaves only McLaren and Force India to confirm their driver lineups for 08 (Has Trulli been confirmed for Toyota?)

I wonder how Nelsinho the wonder kid will compare to him...  ;)

I expect he'll know what to expect...

Seems like Heikki's possibly in the box seat for McLaren then.

Number 2 status in the team for starters...  :P

McLaren would be fools not to sign up Heikki.

The wife says she wouldn't let Alonso clean our toilet let alone drive a car... I think she doesn't like him very much ;D

Cheaper Mercedes backed options may be preferred though perhaps? :)

I was really hoping he would go to NASCAR and be a plague that infects all those fans and drivers >:(.  Oh, well, nothing is perfect ::)

I'd like to see Gary Paffett in there but I doubt it very much...

Mmm, I think his chances went with Prodrive...

Mind you, does anyone want to drive for a team that will be prevented from racing at all if Mad Max and Barmy Bernie have their way...

It's a toughie really. Rumors have Heikki going to Toyota, I think someone mentioned that here. That would stuff Mclaren right up, I dont think they would get away with an all British line up. Mercedes would not want that as they try to head into buying the company outright. And the Spanish sponsors would want at least another spanish driver if possible. I think that means, Mr De la-rossa will be the buffer for both side.

Mmm, Santander however do probably have to option of using the "Abbey" brand if necessary, and are really trying to get a foothold for the Santander brand in the UK and Europe. They may find an all UK line up to their advantage in terms of stimulating interest.

I'm surprised they are staying with Mclaren. They were Fernando's sponsor not the teams.
