Following Richard Hammond's accident whilst filming Top Gear it is anticipated that there will be significant calls for the show to be cut. This petition is in support of Jeremy Clarkson's battle to make sure Hammond has a show to come back to.

By signing this petition you are stating your desire for Top Gear to remain on the BBC schedule and support the continuation of the show now and in the future.

So, before the safety lobby get their way, please sign the petition below.

Cheers.

Top Gear will be fine anyway.
The ratings it brings in especially for a sunday night, are worth the complaints alone, and as for more complaints. Most likely from people who have never seen the show or know who Richard Hammond is, just looking for an excuse to complain.

Done it.

However, there's not a lot of point. There is no way on earth Top Gear will be axed. It's been around nearly 30 years and all the other calls to stop the show havn't even so much as dented it.

But if it was axed, it would probably end up on Sky One, full of adverts every 15 minutes making the program 40 minutes long and aimed at Lord and Lady Chavet. Jeremy would be put out to pasture and replaced by some young blond with a big chest and a co-host who has to do that hand waving thing that seems to be compulsory and make a fist with his thumb and finger pointing out every 5 minutes, not forgetting the camera man who has to do the picture on it's side and then snap it to the correct level as if it is on a spring.

the show has just resumed filming the out of studio work. Mainly to beat the poor weather of winter. It will prob be delayed a while though for hampster to recover. But the show is safe and well.

Hamster's accident, once he is back on his feet is also set to become it's own program so that it can be shown that all safety precautions were observed and how great the medical services were (I say the last part seriously, they were great)....also, push up the ratings too, I suspect

Studio shooting will start the first week in November.
This is the link to get tickets to be in the audience.

They are free, you just have to register for them. The waiting list is a long time, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
