I was wondering what you guys knew about them and if you could give me tips on looking for one. Also anyone know how i could learn how to drive stick? Nether of my parents do, so i would have to learn on my own. Thanks for any info you pass on  ;D

Driving a stick isn't so hard. Depress brake with right foot, depress clutch with left foot. Select 1st gear. If gear won't engage release clutch slightly.
After engaging proper gear release brake and slowly release clutch. If on a hill release clutch slowly until it just starts to engage then release brake.
To change gears while driving release accelerator and at the same time depress the clutch. Select next higher gear and release clutch while applying accelertor pressure.
As for a Jeep for a first car I wouldn't recommend it. Get a safer car to learn in.

You might have a good grasp on DRIVING ....... but not on spelling.......  ::) ::) ::)

driveing = driving
aswell = as well
fealt = felt
basicly = basically

As for the grammar, we won't even go there.

I would also suggest that if you wish to convert from driving an automatic, to a stick shift, that you get some lessons from someone experienced, it's not quite as simple as made out in Mushroom Farmer's post and takes some time to master.

Yup you know that the spelling is going to have the mickey taken!
As for a first car I'd go for something a bit cheaper... just you're going to have accidents. Sorry to be a bit of a downer merchant but that is just the way it is (trust me on this). So something that is cheap to fix is best ;)
Also you need to think about things like running costs and insurance as they're not cheap either.
