If you get your oil changed or any other auto repairs done at "Jiffy Lube", you might want to check this video- http://mfile.akamai.com/12924/wmv/vod.ibsys.com/2006/0503/9152183.200k.asx- before going back to them. I think you might think twice before ever using them again.  >:(

What did they do?
Im on dial up so video doesn't happen here lol.

Let me guess, they dont really change the oil? Steal stuff out of the car? Pour stuff other than oil in the crankcase?

Just shows. Only get your car serviced by people who are responsible should anything go wrong afterwards. :P

Charged a news crew that had hidden cameras all over their cars for services they never did. Like a fuel Filter, the transmission service was the most blatant. In full view of the crew and others, the mechanics never touched the transmission oil change machine and still charged them $99.99 for the service.

Got busted red handed when the news crew let the crooks see themselves on video. That dumbass "District Manager" that denied who he was went so far as to claim he was a customer. A customer that owned a red Chevrolet Camaro that was being serviced. Then the news crew found the real owner sitting right there waiting for his car....lmao. These mechanics were so stupid that even Forrest Gump could have lied better.... ;D

I change the oil in my own car.
so do I
also I fix my engine & transmition as a worker in a workshop,

I got and advise for any of you with automatic transmition,Never change the oil ,you can change the filter(every 4 years) wich is inside fully with pieces of metal (normaly) but try to refuel with the same used oil

I hate when this happends...Im getting tire of this limited english

I think Alrot was trying to say that it's often better to just change the filter and top off as needed. The reason is.. that in some transmissioms.. if you totally drain them, it's possible to get air pockets that take a while to work out and it's better leave old fluid than risk that.

I've heard that and don't totally believe it.. But I've also driven a car for 100,000 never changing transmission fluid.. So it could be right. It probably depends on the car/transmission.

(I prefer manual transmissions)
