Rubens out

Well as of next year Massa will be driving as the Ferrari number two.
So much for my Dan Wheldon theory. It was too long to go into but made sense if you thought about it ;D
Rubens looks likely to head to BAR. I guess it was his time to step out of Schumi's shadow. Hopefully his career will go well elsewhere.

Elseware as in----down the drain?  Hes not going to win too many races at BAR.  Then again, how many races will Ferrari win?

this year? most likely none. Ferrari will be back next year, and the playing field will be back to level again. Bet this time they dont waste their winter. Then again, Ferrari and V8 dont really go together.

I suppose Rubens and Gil de Ferran go back to the British single seat series' of the late 80s and early 90s, so I wouldn't be suprised...

No other team could afford him that has a seat free. Mclaren Are full, Renault i suppose might consider removing Fisi if his performance doesnt improve. Or the other thing but right now unlikely, he could retire.

Isn't Rubens the oldest dude in F-1 right now?  I know its either him or Michael

Michaels older, but he is getting on in years himself. Both only have a year or two more left in them really.

Infact as it stands,
Schumi oldest, followed by coulthard whos two years younger, then Jacques Villenueve whos a month younger than DC, then Barrichello whos a year younger than those two.

Rubens and Button would be a fantastic combination at BAR .... Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen with Frank Williams digging his heals in. I can't understand why he wants a driver that.. A. He threw to the dogs just after sigining him and .. B. Obviously doesn't want to go to Williams, so therefore has no interest in performing for the team.
Frank Williams needs to see sense and release Button from the plainly stupid contract.
