nice, let us know how it goes. any info on the car? look carefully for rust or any signs of body/frame damage

Yeah, one big area on those cars is around the front and back windows near the bottom corners especially.

also ask for the history of the car: owners, damage, origin, etc.

also insurance and where to get spares. remember these cars are not sold here usually so parts are rare even moreso as its a classic.

insurance and spares arent a prob, but the car wasnt as it was described......it sure looked good, until i started to poke around.......basically, badly repaired crash damage, paint blistering and a knackered gearbox.   all of this i could sort out, but the guy wouldnt drop to a reasonable price, so i walked..
nevermind, im off to see another one on saturday so we shall see...

good, you don't want a car with any sign of crash damage
