Hello all! Just thought I would round up some photos of my old classic and post them here as I had promised!

Here's some of the info, not sure what all is correct or not as of yet....
1965 Mercury Comet Caliente
4-door
289 V-8
Possibly a C4 3 speed automatic transmission
Power steering
hydraulic brakes, though not sure.....could be manual as well...

I'm waiting on a shop manual for it as well as a ford master parts list to come in the mail in the next few days. From there I can use the VIN number and tell you a little bit more about this car. Perhaps I"ll even find the build sheets somewhere in the car when I go up to my grandmothers house next time! that would be neat!

As of right now there is a lot of minor things that need to be taken care of, possibly a power steering problem, and lots of cosmetic work that needs to be done to this car. Main thing is to get it back in safe driveably condition. As it is a four door I will probably just rework the original engine that I already have. Had it been a 2 door I might have tried to turn it into a head turning muscle car....

Acutally pretty good! It has it's spots here and there, but none all too serious...(can't poke through holes..).

Good thing is if I run into a lot of rust on the door panels my friends dad has a 1965 Falcon that he is looking to part out...From what i've heard the doors are pretty much swappable with a new hinge.

That mangled hood is probably going to be the worst of my worries on outside body work.

that is a real nice car! that engine is looking a bit tired though
