I'm looking for a used e46 BMW 330D - The one Jensen Button got caught speeding in a few years back.

I've learned of the tuning potential of these cars, and I know of one up for sale near me for about

not bad for a diesel, but at least over on this side of the pond petrol power is not going to be taken over by the diesel engine

although i would love to slam that VW V10 TDI into a jetta or someother small VW ;) (1 small chip and that thing hass 900 ft-lbs!)
Sincerely,
Me

it is a Twin Turbo 5 liter V10 diesel

in stock form it makes 400bhp and 750 Nm (but with just a chip and reworking the turbos  can nearly double the torque)

Impressive indeed!

My Truck has an in-line 6 12 litre producing 420BHP ! Single turbo.

I'd love to try yours!  ;)

just wanna make sure we are all talking about the same type of truck here? Remembering truck in the US is usually a pick-up truck where as here its usually used for 18 wheelers and the smaller varients.

As far as I'm aware, BMan1113VR is indeed refering to one of those Pickup type things we love to hate over here, me I'm refering to my 44ton Articulated truck.

i have a plan (dream) for a sleeper car to build when i am a bit less concerend about money. my plan:

THE SUPER TDI SLEEPER:
take this: Image

from this:Image

and put into this:Image

add Audi quatro all wheel drive, a 6 speed with a nice strong tranny, a nice chip to unleash some more ft-lbs, and some wide sticky tires and zoom ultimate sleeper! would probably require a bit of chassis cutting, but i can dream  ;D

Me

thoose would be nice, i have some other custom car ideas too

but we are talking about diesels guys!!! ;)

p.s. craig, a aston is a bit of a heavy car for the dynamics of that engine, but that engine in an old dino (wow that would be fast) or a modern small fiat (or even a miata ;))

Indeed! Diesels!  ;D

Your project sounds great BMan!  8)  Treestump pulling torque in such a light car! that would be crazily fast, given a transmission & gearing tough enough to take it!

0 - 60MPH 5.9 Seconds

That poop!

My 'Vette beats that by 1.7 seconds!

If you want performance get a 'Vette W/Z51!

Plus, she has a HUD, GPS nav system and is just as comfortable as any BMW I've ever owned/driven.

Oh, and at 28MPG her mileage is nothing to sneeze at for a sportscar!
