the beast is back

And my god, is that Ferrari fast. Too bad the new aerodynamic regulations make overtaking virtually impossible. Now that ladies and gentlemen is real F1 racing at its best.
Too bad ITV here absolutly F'd up and took a commercial break with only 3 laps left, only to come back 1/4 way through the final lap. They suck.
The champ is still alive and with a car that fast under him, the rest of the season is going to be a looooong haul for the others ;D

Who cares. if he can do that and be 2 seconds faster than anyone else now from the middle of the pack. Imagine what will happen at barcelona, which is a much faster circuit. Even Alonso just admitted he couldn't match that pace if he wanted to. I'm happy. Now Barrichello needs to get his car to kwik-fit and have them fix it before the next race. ;D It is a shame Mclaren cant get a reliable car under Kimi, that would have made it a very close and exciting race. Today was the best thing F1 could have hoped for after so long with no action.

"Long with no action"??
I found the first two races really packed with action. This one was pretty good, too, but it wasn't the beginning of a new era. Maybe only the beginning of "back to boredom"...

There hasn't been this sort of action all season. Teams who were behind have had a chance to shut their mouths and get to work the past three weeks. Both Ferrari and Mclaren are two teams who have done that as have BAR. Renault need to do that now to just keep up.

A fantastic race ............ and I've complained to ITV for the rather inept placing of adverts 3 laps from the end of the race .
Stupid Planks. :( :(

Tis good to see the master back at his best ....... I hope it means that this season is going to come alive.

Their website was not working after the race. I think you wernt the only one trying to complain. And then going back and replaying the last 3 like it would make a differance, its not exciting when you already know the winners. Bring back the BBC and bring back the Murray ;D

Convenient eh?? ....... it worked after 3 attempts.

I agree bring back the BBC ......... but Murray won't be back :'( as much as I miss the Murrayisms  ;D ;D He's enjoying his retirement .... and made it clear in his autobiography that he wouldn't be comming back.

Oh i know, its a shame though. I think it would be nice If ITV offered him a chance to perhaps just do the British GP. He is always there anyway, and you just gotta believe it kills him not to be up in the booth on race day.

From what I've read in his Autobiography ........ its partly because ITV took it over that he retired ....... NOW if the BBC got the contract back then who knows.  ::)

i believe the renewal is up soon. I can assure you if ITV arnt careful either the bbc or sky will pick it up. Hopefully the BBC. Sky attempted it, and their coverage was god awful, which was surprising from them. The BBC actually produced a great show when they did it. Was definatly a shame when itv got it. I cant stand half their crew.

race sounded great (from the stories i have read), but the rain knocked out the satilite that gets the channel hear (although i could have watched it on CBS, but the timming was wrong). it re-runs on SPEED channel this friday, and i will watch it again. btw what happened to schummi on qualifing? (i saw all of it, but the analysis wasn't top notch)
Sincerely,
Me

He came out of the chicane to fast and went wide, instead of easing off the throttle and droping a tenth of a second he floored it. Braked too late into the next corner and locked the front wheels causing him to go off the road partly and dropping him to 13th.
