NASCAR is very over done. What happened? A MF named Tony George (partial owner of Indy Speedway) decided to start his own crappy little series (Indy Racing League) separate from CART (Champ Auto Racing Teams). This split lead to fans being split between the two series's, and american open wheel racing tripped over itself, networks left them, and the american racing fans turned to a form of racing that wasn't fighting itself (NASCAR).
NASCAR is still about the racing. The REAL difference between F-1 and NASCAR? The fans. NASCAR is built around its fans, so the rules, regs, and events is all for the fans. F-1 racing is more about the drivers enjoyment. Same in Champ Car and IRL. They are learning though.
Even though I too am a big F-1 fan, I still watch plenty of NASCAR races. Feeding the monster hillbilly juggernaught? Yes. Enjoyin' it? of course.
OOOOOOHh, its raining. GTG.
