Styling my Busa my way!

Postby Gixer » Sun Dec 05, 2004 12:26 pm

Well I hate to be one that has a vehicle that is the same as others so I have started setting about personalising my Busa.

here is a pic of standard paint scheme

Image

I added some silver stripes to the bike to highlight the colour changes on the panels.  Not to everyones taste but I like it.  Also put on the wheels as I hate dull bland lookin wheels

Image

Now I had a bit of a brain wave (Well I think) when I was thinking about the stripes.  They are silver in daytime but come night time they are a safety feature, this pic shows how well they reflect (Wheels weren't done at this point in time)

If people cant see me now at night then thay must be blind!!

LMAO @ Hairdryer.  Well this one has a Hairdryer fitted that is currently putting out 160bhp at the rear wheel (I had it on dyno last week  ;D) and 100ft/lb torque

Compared to my last bike it feels like its powered by a warp drive from the Starship Enterprise  8)

Oh and the stripes only shine up if a headlight shines on them.  They are not there to make the bike look bling, they are in my thinking there as an extra Safety Feature!  I always try to do my best to be as visible as possible on a motorcycle in dusk/dark conditions.

I must say that that limpet that's stuck on the back of the bike in the first pic put me off thinking it was anything too special.

That first pic is not actually my bike. I used that to edit in PSP how I wish to get my bike looking.  That lump as Ozzy says is a luggage thing, though as he also says it would be very useful at stopping oneself flying off the back when accelerating.

I still haven't really opened the throttle from the word go yet.  I have got about half way through the rev range then wound on quickish but it all gets fast very very quickly!
