Kenny Brack

Today in the chevy 500 at texas motor speedway, in the closing laps, kenny brack and tomas sheckter were involved in a horrifying wreck.

It appeared that sheckter and brack made wheel contact, then sheckter spun sideways and brack went airborne into the catch fence.  sheckter continued to spin and hit the wall, the car was severly damaged.  Brack's car hit the fence, vaporized, then the drivers cockpit slid and spun onto the  the apron.  sheckter walked away from the wreck, but brack was unconsious and was delivered to the care center.  the last word from the care center was he was awake and responding. He substained "heavy fractures".

For Gil De Ferren, this was his last race and last win, as he is retiring after today.  Scott Dixon won the championship.

I honestly didnt think brack had survived the wreck, when i first saw it live, because it resembled Jeff Krosniff's wreck in Toronto, when he rocketed off the right rear tire of another car, flew over the fence, hit a tree, and slid across the track only to be hit again by another car. He didnt survive.
