In light of the VW scandal, this made interesting reading, I wonder what he would have to say about it.....?

The article and the site, "The Local", were interesting.

At a brief glance it looks much better than most "news" sites.

I worked at VW Interamericana (Nassau Bahamas was home base), I quitted after VW de México in Puebla was inaugured. In different moments of my life, I owned quite a few air cooled VW's: a few Sedan 113's, a couple of Transporter T2's, the Safari/Thing (VW 181). That part of the British ocupation was well aknoledged in VW history on those days (1967 to 69). My present daily transportation is a VW Combi T2 of 1973 vintage, my shop & home on wheels, here at home in hacienda Armonía, repairing Vicky's Tracker Tranny:
