It's May Spring Bank Holiday in the Land of the Angles and Saxons at the moment

Which means thunder, lightning, and torrential rain...as always...

So, a flashback to last Sunday in the glorious warm sunshine...a distinct rarity in Angleland.

A journey from Hereford to Abergavenny in Wales for the regular Sunday meet up with all the Bikers in the Bus Park!

Then a nostalgic trip from Abergavenny to Monmouth along the original country road, (before the new Dual Carriageway/Freeway was built)...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eycH3DcEpYc&t=462s

Then back home again to Hereford along the old Monmouth to Hereford 'Bus route...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UunzSbVPoSE&t=8s

A rare memorable trip in glorious sunshine!

Lots of memories of what England looked like on my various road/bus/train trips in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's...

...when there was little, or no traffic on the roads, very few people, and the Sun always shone on me!

Enjoy Folks!

Hello!

Hope Paul doesn't mind me sharing this, but with modifiying the Slash/Turn out pipe baffles I decided to do a comparison between them both, and thought I'd film it on the trusty action cam:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPL4jFDP6-s

The original exhausts where around 95db, and with the modded baffles the ones on are just shy of 108db.

The underworld that is Tesco's car park Paul? I've dared to park in the Garrick hundreds of times, and you know what they say in Hereford. Who dares wins!

Memory Lane stuff!

The final part of the exploration of the old; "Roman Road" (A4103) in Hereford City that I remember motorcycling in the 1940's and onwards!

Part 3:

Little of it left now, as shown in this video.

Remembering all the amazing results of the road-building, etc, work, that the Romans accomplished in Britain, two thousand years ago!
(They used pebble-stones then, instead of Tarmac!)...LOL...!

Heya Fozzer... After reading a lot of your posts I must say, in using the vernacular here in the area of Earth that I'm living in: You rock ! :-) Am glad you are here.
Myself, have been from the Atlantic to the Pacific on scoots though have been a no-rider for some time now. No one can take those adventures from us. No fear, but a healthy respect.
