Many of my North American and Canadian Biker Chums are laying up their Motorcycles for the Winter season now!
But my trusty steed is the only means of my daily transport, so, come rain, shine...or even snow. we still have to keep going, with a cheery smile and a happy song...and dream of Summertime!.... ;) ... ;) ...!

My main transportation wear elevens. :-)

Be safe out there, uncle. My scoot riding disciplines:

* Keep your eyes moving
* Make sure they see you
* Leave yourself an "out"
* Maintain the "big picture"
* Always be prepared to stop

That'll be $35 USD. :-) Not you, Fozzer,
you know this stuff already. It prolongs lives.

Whilst most/all of my Motorcycling chums from the upper reaches of North America and Canada have laid up their trusty steeds for the Winter, myself and Daisy (Honda CMX250C Rebel) still need to go shopping every day, no matter what the weather throws at us, even in the depths of Winter!... :shock: ....!
During a dry spot, a couple of days ago, we travelled to Mr Sainsbury's shopping emporium via a secret back entrance (Ooh-eerr!... :oops: ...) to avoid the main road heavy traffic....

Join us, for another exciting shopping trip!... :lol: ....>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5uar25Ab_A

Afternoon:

The weather in our Northern Hemispherical's is getting decidedly chiller, so any warmer time for a Motorcycle ride is a good excuse!

Take a trip with me and Daisy! (Daisy and I).... ;) ...!

Got to take advantage of a; "warmish" day, now and again, so a trip to the shops in a roundabout way is the way to go!...>>>>

A chance to observe the effects of re-programming my camera after the regular battery change after re-charging!

(Changing the battery often puts the camera into default settings!)

Temperature is holding up, so far, so the rides are; "pleasurable".... ;) ....!

You're right Anthin!

Its a real pain riding the bike into the late setting Sun in the Winter-time!

It's not too bad in a motor car with its drop-down visor, but on the Bike with nothing to shield our eyes, it can become quite dangerous at times!

I have a small drop-down smoked visor in my helmet, but it's not very effective against a strong Sun glare!

I'm making the most of riding my Bike every day when the weather permits now!

Cheers, Anthin....

Take care!

Hi Fozzer.
Those conditions were very similar
riding a bike in Ireland.It wasn't too bad in Co. Wicklow,
With the mountains and the trees.The west of Ireland
however was the opposite.
In Canada the bike was put to sleep for the winter.

Memories.

Now I ride a mobility scooter. :snooty:

There are alternative types of Mobility Scooters, Anthin.

Like this one...>>>

Maybe fitted with a Harley-Davidson 1959 Vee-twin Panhead Motor, or the latest Harley Milwaukee 8 Vee-twin?

I was looking at one like that.It was bigger
and looked like a Harley.It was out of my price range though. :?

I thought about turning into a chopper with ape hangers. :o

I would like to put a small jet engine in the one I have now.
Can you imagine lighting the burners in an isle at Kmart? :lol: :lol: :lol:
