From old east German two strokes to three wheelers, rat bikes to the latest technology. I will get some pictures then next time I go.

Nice links Paul. During my time in a blue suit, I spent a lot of time in Sennelager in tents with the Harriers. We use to say Sennelager, probably the worst lager in the world.....

This is where I go. It happened every Wednesday:

Interesting video, Matt!

Its fascinating to see the interaction between all the bikers, enjoying themselves.....

Very common in North and South America, and on the Continent; Germany and Holland and Belgium, all having fun and chatting amongst themselves!

The Brits are always so reserved, they never talk, or react to each other!.... :( ...!

So much for yesterday eventing. The weather forecast painted such a crappy picture that only about 20 bikers turned up. It was overcast, but not the down poor that was forecast.... I only went as it is a couple of klicks for me and my oldest want to go for a ride. Shame, last week the place was heaving. Fingers crossed for next Wednesday........

Pics needed urgently, Tug!.... :D

Woo-Hoo!.... ...>>>>

Finally got my own You-Tube Channel sorted out, with reading the rules/help files, and a bit of experimentation!
I managed to upload two video files for the moment, each one lasting approx 15 minutes, and each one taking 80 minutes to upload, to give some idea of my typical uploads speed.... ...!

15 minute video = one and a half hours upload time (on a good day), at my internet speeds.... ...!

Many/most of my videos last between 30 minutes and one hour per trip, so it looks like I will have to drastically reduce their total length to allow for a reasonable upload time...before I die!!

I already have loads of them on my hard drive, so I'm going to be busy shortening them, before posting them on You Tube!

...anyway...I have finally got the routine sorted out... ;) ...!

Originally I was only allowed 2GB default video file size, but now having "joined the club" I am now allowed unlimited? file size!
...its just the long time it takes to upload them!... :o .... ....!

There you go Chums...You-Tube and Dropbox options now!

"Windows Movie Maker" is going to be very busy for a while!... ....!

Sunday 22nd May...

Looked at the local weather forecast:
....Yet another cool, wet, cloudy, miserable day, so my trusty steed has to stay under its cover for another wasted day!
Its quite depressing when one realises that its less than four weeks to the longest day (21st June)....and then Winter starts all over again!.... ...!

General Aviation Pilots must have the same depressing feeling when adverse weather conditions prohibit them from flying their beloved Cessna 150's, Piper Cub's, etc.... ...!

So, for me, its a day in, to spend time cooking and eating, and pretending to fly aeroplanes on my computer...
...and watching You-Tube videos of all those happy motorcyclists enjoying themselves in the warmth and comfort of a cloudless blue sky in Arizona!... ....!

Pots and pans on my trusty gas cooker... ....!

Great video Fozzer, still loving the country side that you drive through. I think that I saw a cop with a ray gun pointed at you then two standing, waiting a bit farther down the road to stop the speeders. Guess that you were not speeding as they just watched you pass buy. I was out yesterday and met 8 cruisers on the highway as it is a long weekend over here. Warming up here finally.

Tug, those cops were looking for speeding cyclists. They must've thought Fozz was going so slow he might have been one. :D

I must admit that I take great care when travelling through the Forest of Dean to be aware of various animals; Dear, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Mad Foresters, etc, leaping out of the woods into my path!
They are all allowed by ancient law to graze and roam the Forest at will.
(Will, the Mad Forester, is the one which causes me the greatest concern).

And being a two-wheeler, I always give Pedal Cyclists a very wide berth, for both our safety. (They are allowed to wobble!).

It makes a lovely ride, taking care, through the tree-lined roads!

Self preservation; I only go fast when its safe to do so...and always observe speed limits!... :D ..!

Paul... ..!

Another wet, miserable Sunday with no rides!... ...!

Hello Mr. Fozzer, cripes! the thought of me riding a Motorcycle through the forests on those narrow paths is terrifying! And as Monty Python would say....."look at all the damn foliage". You can't see around bends, there are cars parked on the traffic lanes, and you can barely get by a bicycle when you need to. Sheep on the road is a great bonus as well.
But, you are obviously used to it all and your speed and control of your Rebel is commendable. I am very pleased that you get to enjoy such fresh open-air cruises on your beloved Rebel. I sincerely hope that you can continue to do so for years to come. Thanks for posting your videos, well done.

Ta, Flacke.... :D ...!

Whilst we are trapped-in by high hedges, vegetation, poor visibility, terrible road surfaces, lack of road-side information, etc...
....you would not believe how much I envy you US Bikers with your wide open clear blue sky for as far as the eye can see, with nothing in the way to restrict it, excellent maintained roads with excellent and informative roadside markings, and scenery to die for!

Its always a joy to watch the USA "Eagle Riders" on You-Tube, enjoying their Tours around the breath-taking scenery.....

Innit though! Varmints are a major hazard when riding in the countryside. I even had a deer run out in front of me in Stroud, on the Nailsworth road not far from the old BP chemicals site, where it is still a built-up area! Normally, in Wales, it’s sheep and rabbits that give me grief, although I’ve been hit in the face by birds a couple of times (strewth, do they ever stink!), no doubt chasing after my “fan club” of flies that seem to constantly surround me! My sympathies to Australian bikers who, apparently, get attacked by kangaroos after dusk!

I have had deer, skunks, raccoons, cows, porcupines and various other creatures on the road in front of me. Once even a huge snapping turtle on the road
I have finally taken some pictures of my bike and have them in Photobucket for you to view. As you may notice I have changed the passenger seat to a thicker one and have added a quick release backrest to the bike so I will not loose my wife when riding and make it more comfortable for her to ride. The passenger seat is also a quick release so it can be taken off while riding single.
