MMM let me see, I am 16 and have ridden a motorbike twice and have a crash rate of 100%.

On my 11th B'day i drove one off a 4 m cliff that left me very bruised across my face (That's what a spinning tyre does to you) but i surprisingly didn't break anything.

And 2 years ago i was riding a bike and hit the accelerator (i didnt know that i did) and ran fair into a fence.

As you can probably gather I am going to avoid motorbikes.

When I was 15 I took my cousins ZZR600 Kwaka for a quick spin the local bypass (he is a policeman!) and I ended up under the bike and in a lot of pain!
Then about 8 years later a mate of mine suggested doing our motorbike tests together, and I thought what the heck, it'll help me get over the fear, and it'll reduce my insurance on the car.
A week after passing I had my first big boy bike, and every chance I get I ride.
Bikes aren't dangerous. Half-wits in a crash helmet and leathers are.....

My only crash was on one of my first bikes when I was 16...(1950)... ;)...!
A 98 cc Sun 2-stroke... 8)...!
I had removed the rear wheel for some reason, (probably a puncture), and when I put the wheel back in the frame I forgot to replace the rear brake torque arm... ::)...!
So...
The first time I applied the rear brake, the brake drum rotated and  locked up the back brake and tore the wheel out of the frame.
The bike finished up as a mono-cycle and I was firmly planted in the road.... :'(...!
..(I think I cried a little at the time...) :'(...!
I've been very careful ever since... ;D...!
...54 years clean licence, no more accidents... 8)...!

Im too smart to drive a moto, but my friend once drove his bike though a fence and flipped over.

and another time he was taunting an old lady when he hit a pot hole and some how he tore up his knee.  then the old lady laughed at him.

Motorcycles here really are mainly for recreation, not really as functional transportation.

I know a person who got hit by a police car whilst they were chasing someone.  He got thrown about 15 feet in the air and the bike ended up underneath the cruiser.  Now he's got a Harley with illegal exhaust!

(Vroom Vroom)

P.S. Mark what have you against Volvo drivers! ???

And put me down for a bloody T-72, bi-turbo with the shiniest hubs you can find, spiked treads, urban camo, and make sure it is street legal!  And don't forget some rounds filled with some lovely BBQ sauce! ;D

I dont have any street bike accident stories....yet :D

I do have motocross accident though, I went off this weird jump at the track, it was a real kicker, I ended up doing a unintentional superman mid air., after that I thought I got my feet back on the pegs, I was wrong and I entered a world of pain on the landing :o :'(
