I'd say Alonso is a better wet weather driver than button. Hungary 2006 for instance, his First lap made senna's 93 donnington one look ordinary.
He just doesn't have the car right now to make use of it.

Button
Hamilton
Barrichello

Here's to hoping both Vettel and the Australian's* engines go up in smoke. Twice. ;D

*now he's a winner, and a potential threat to Button, in true Wallaby and Pom bashing fashion, is no longer referred to by name! ;D And we won the cricket. ;) :D ;D

Webber
Kimi
Lewis.

I'm not even slightly confident of this weekend. The Brawns look pretty poor, but then they have a habit of finding the extra time between FP3 and qualy so who knows.

This is going to be without a doubt a brilliant race.
I think looking at fuel, That force india could be on for a possible win, at the least a podium. For cars with Race pace, Kimi is without a doubt based on fuel looking very good. Its basically between him and Rubens if they can get through the first corner safely.
More importantly this weekend should have cleared up a lot of things for the teams in terms of car designs. The fact the the FI's the BMWs and toyotas were so much quicker in the middle sector to me suggests their biggest problem this season has been perhaps too much downforce thats just not efficient for the higher speed tracks, and the guys like, Ferrari, Red bull, Brawn, seem to have much more efficient aero, but perhaps just lacking a little in how much downforce they can produce. It's the only thing that can explain the 6 to 8 tenths differance.
Jenson seems to be the luckiest man alive. These are the sort of situations the Red Bull should be capatalising on to give them the title. Ferrari/ Kimi did it in 07 when Macca gave up the 30 points lead through mistakes. I'd say Button is now within touching distance of the title. Whether or not he earns it though in the 2nd half of the season is another matter entirely.

I must admit I liked Lewis' comment after qualifying.

Something along the lines of "Not perfect but we can have some fun with KERS back there"

Fun. Brilliant.

something I failed to take into account that could help Fisi if he has a good start. The Trulli Train. KERS or not, the guy would be impossible to pass in a ford fiesta. If Fisi can use that to open up a good gap, it may not matter how much fuel others have.
