The New Charger

Postby matthew954 » Tue Jul 12, 2005 9:03 pm

Im curious to see how everyone likes the new chargers.  Im not sure what to make of them.  They seem nice, but look nothing like their predecessors.  I  think they look a bit too much like a Mercedes.  Not that Im complaining though.  It does still look mean.

I like them, a friend of mine's family has one of the new ones (as well as a couple old ones) and I really do like them.

I would cosider buying an SRT-8 one if it was a 2 door. they ruined the car by making it a sedan in my opinion

the car should be raw not a tame sedan

The big rumor at the moment (and there is evidence to it) is that Dodge is going to release a 2-door version in 2007 using the Challenger name.

Yah road & track has some artistic renderings and speculation in this months issue

Because they haven't come up with anything better.   ;)

If you're talking about US car making companies; yes.

I'm talking about any car company.  They haven't equaled the style or appearance and the only ones that can equil the performance are insanely expensive.

My point it that the reason they are remkaing muscle cars is that there hasn't been anything better built.  The American companies (or any other car company) haven't managed to build a better car with the performance or style.

That of couse excludes the insanely expensive cars out there-but for the a "normal" person's price range there is nothing better IMHO.
