Heavy fines, and a lifetime ban from Formula 1 competition.

They have 7 days to appeal.

Well, I guess this probably means we'll never have another US grand prix.

The FIA as so full of their own self importance as usual. When will they learn, in reality the USA does not have any major requirement for another form of motor sport. F1 has a very, very small following in the USA and banning a team from ever competing, hardly a way to please the natives and especially natives that are very patriotic and can and would turn their collective backs away from F1. F1 (if at all) needs the USA, the USA has no real need for F1. Did they not learn from the last race, a 4 car F1 demonstration drive and the reaction of the fans ::)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
